At Kick It we maintain strong partnerships with a variety of other health providers working in secondary care, primary care and community settings. We work with these partners by training their staff, funding them to deliver stop smoking support to the public and providing vouchers for our clients to receive medications from them. We also build relationships around cross referrals with multiple local organisations who are in regular contact with smokers.
Primary Care / GP’s
In our areas Kick It has a strong relationship with a majority of GP settings. We support surgeries by delivering clinics from their site, to their patients and updating their QOF data accordingly which not only helps the patients accessing that surgery but also can lead to financial bonus for that surgery.
Alternately we can also train a member of the surgery team to deliver Kick It stop smoking support. For each quitter that this trained advisor generates the surgery is entitled to claim some money. So delivering Kick It stop smoking support can be an additional revenue stream for a GP setting.
Alongside all of this we help our primary care partners with the promotion of smoking cessation, we offer multitudes of resources to be used to engage patients and assist in advertising health campaigns like Stoptober and No Smoking Day.
Pharmacies
In our areas Kick It has a strong relationship with the majority of pharmacies. We regularly train up qualified Pharmacists to deliver Kick It stop smoking support. For each quitter that this trained advisor generates the pharmacy is entitled to claim some money. So delivering Kick It stop smoking support can be a profitable additional revenue stream for a small business.
Additionally Kick It clients receive vouchers which entitles them to up to 12 weeks/£100 of free nicotine replacement therapies. These vouchers are redeemed at pharmacy locations who have an agreement around dispensing these products with Kick It. Pharmacies are then reimbursed for these items as well as received £6.44 for every voucher they redeem!
Alongside all of this we help our pharmacy partners with the promotion of smoking cessation, we offer multitudes of resources to be used to engage customers and assist in advertising health campaigns like Stoptober and No Smoking Day. We also organise workshops and learning events with expert guest speakers whom impart their knowledge to local pharmacists.
